We are excited to announce that the Family Haven has been included in Tesco’s Community Grants scheme. From October 1st until the end of the year you can vote for us at Tesco stores across Gloucester and Stroud. The project with the highest number of votes receive £1,500, the second placed project £1,000 and the third placed project £500.
Blue tokens are available with any purchase made in-store so whether you’re doing your weekly shop, or popping in for a sandwich on your lunch break, we’d hugely appreciate a token in the Family Haven’s collection box.
The money will provide nutritious hot meals for vulnerable families with young children and to help them to understand how a healthy diet can be achieved on a low income.
We have already been nominated in the Tesco store in Ledbury from July until September and are currently awaiting the results of the customer vote.
