Help us support disadvantaged families in Gloucestershire

There are many ways in which you can get involved to help us make a difference: whether it is our new Corporate partnership scheme, payroll giving or cause related marketing, sponsorship opportunities and more, we are sure that we can offer you and your business the ideal way to get involved. Together, we can create an inspiring, tailor-made partnership that is designed to be mutually beneficial.

Choosing to work with us will reap benefits for both your staff and your business. Our dedicated fundraiser will work with you every step of the way to:

  • Increase your brand awareness and corporate identity, resulting in an opportunity to reach key stakeholders
  • Create fun opportunities for staff fundraising, including sponsored events and team building opportunities at the day centre
  • Deliver PR opportunities to a range of difference audiences
  • Support a worthwhile cause that makes a difference to vulnerable families who need our support.

Other ways your company can get involved:

Corporate volunteering

We are only a small charity so don’t have specialist departments such as Marketing, Human Resources, Building Services and IT. Do you have specialist skills in your workforce that could help with problem solving when they arise, or redesigning our literature? Your business can volunteer with the Family Haven and help share your knowledge with us.

Payroll giving

Payroll Giving, also known as ‘give as you earn’ or ‘workplace giving’, is a quick easy and efficient way for both employees and employers to support a charity. Best of all, it’s tax free, meaning that your gifts will go even further. For more information, click here

Give as you Live

Give as you Live Online is the free and easy way to raise money for Winston’s Wish when you shop online with 4,500+ stores. Simply go to Give as you Live Online and start shopping to make a difference for the Family Haven.

Gloucester Lottery

Take a gamble on Gloucester Lottery, an exciting weekly lottery that raises money for the Family Haven and other causes. Tickets for the lottery cost just £1 a week. Each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance to win a prize each week, with a top prize of £25,000! That’s a better chance of winning than the National Lottery or the Health Lottery.

Donations

We also welcome donations from your company of goods or money. For example, kitchen equipment, nursery toys or books, stationery or printing costs, and more.

Zurich Community Trust

Zurich Community Trust and Zurich Insurance UK have supported the Family Haven since 2010. The most recent grant of £12k has been given to support our nursery project. The grant will make a huge difference and improve educational opportunities for young children of vulnerable families.

Mark Flay – Volunteer & Partnership Manager

“It’s amazing to be able to offer funding and support to local charities like The Family Haven who help disadvantaged and vulnerable families in Gloucestershire though their caring and supportive day centre. We couldn’t do this without the support of Zurich UK employees who help us raise money through payroll giving and fundraising events throughout the year.”
