In the News The Eliot Arms South Cerney Our sincere thanks to Harry & Helen Stringer and the regulars of The Eliot Arms in South Cerney for their fundraising efforts. The locals have really taken us to heart and have raised a magnificent £398.55 from a charity cycle ride by the South Cerney Football Club, a collection at the New Years Eve Party and contributions in the collection tin on the bar. Keep up the good work and THANK YOU.

Collection Tins - The Family Haven collection tins, which we distribute to shops, public houses and other establishments in and around Gloucester are providing additional income to our fundraising campaign. Trustees, Staff and JoJo Lingwood (one of our enthusiastic volunteers) collects them when full and replaces them with empty tins. In the financial year 2010-2011 we have raised £2148.00. If you know of a suitable establishment who would be willing to have one of our tins please give Carole Smith a call on 01452 528692. The North Cotswold Rotary Club presented a cheque to our manager Lorraine Barrett on 7th June 2010 after their charity golf day at Norton Downs Golf Club for £1000. |
