The Family Haven was
established in 1988 to help disadvantaged and vulnerable families in
Gloucestershire to a brighter future.
We help parents and their pre-school children by providing a warm, caring and supportive day centre where assistance and encouragement is available to help them to improve the quality of their lives. |

![]() DIYSOS Wednesday 25th November 2009 was certainly a day to remember for everyone at the Family Haven as we were visited and filmed by DIYSOS for a Kids in Crisis Christmas Special. The film crew arrived with Mark Millar one of the presenter/craftsmen from the show. A great time was had by all and our very own stars of the show were Gill, Lorraine, Charmaine and Sara. The show was shown on BBC 1 on December 10th and we received far more airtime than expected.

Charity of the year 2010 The Family Haven are delighted to announce that we have been chosen by local business Marks and Spencer's Outlet Gloucester Quays and by Gloucester Cathedral as their charity of the year for 2010. The Staff at Marks & Spencer's Outlet Gloucester Quays are actively working on several fundraising projects including a sponsored weight loss, a staff quiz night, an Easter egg collection for the children. The staff also volunteered to give a weekend to redecorate our cot room. Gloucester Cathedral allowed us to collect prior to the Family service on Christmas Eve and a total of £340 was donated.
